our history
Skater since the late 1980s, snowboarder and surfer since the early 1990s, wakeboarder and wakesurfer since 2000... this is the DNA of founder Luca "Krasto" Quaroni. A life dedicated to board sports. A former snowboarder, wakeboarder, and wakesurfer with numerous podiums and victories in Italian and international competitions, he was the first to organize wakesurfing competitions in Italy, both at a national promotional level and at a professional and international level. He managed to bring to Lake Iseo in 2018 and 2019 the world championships of the "Competitive Wakesurfing Association," of which he was a member of the board. An international judge for the CWSA and national judge for the IWWF, he has been a wakesurfing instructor for the Italian Surfing, Water Skiing, and Wakeboarding Federation for many years, for which he wrote the wakesurfing teaching manual. He was also the first level three wakesurfing coach in Italy.
After several years of teaching at top Italian schools, in 2011 he stumbled upon Lake Iseo, falling in love with the lake and deciding to open "Krasto Wake School." Over the years, this school has produced some of Italy's best wakesurfing and wakeboarding athletes and has been a training center for many international athletes. At the end of 2022, due to several family bereavements, the school was closed, while also feeling the need to explore new avenues. However, the passion for teaching these sports was too strong, and in March 2024, Krasto Wake School reopened in Romagna, where it operated for two seasons. After three years, the longing for Lake Iseo has grown ever greater, and it has brought us back here, reopening this year with this new project:
the Wave.
The Wave isn't just a high-level school or a towing sports club; it's also a way to fully enjoy this beautiful lake with organized trips and tours. You can also rent a driver, instructor, and boat for family and friends, allowing you to spend time both relaxing and exercising, without the stress of having to stick to tight schedules for lessons and sports courses.
